Who can attend ETH Oxford?

ETH Oxford welcomes students, developers and professionals from all backgrounds who are interested in building software projects related to crypto, cryptography and AI.

What does the £30 deposit cover and why is it charged?

The deposit includes attendance at the hackathon; breakfast, lunch and dinner for the duration of the hackathon; snacks and drinks; as well as 24/7 access to the hackathon venue for the duration of the event. It is charged to ensure that only people committed to attending the event are able to get tickets.

What overnight accommodation is provided by the event?

We provide an air mattress and a sleeping room. There will be a female-only sleeping space provided.

How is the overnight accommodation allocated and how do I know if I have received a place?

We allocate overnight accommodation based on attendees’ CVs and past hackathon track records. We will contact you directly within two weeks of your ticket purchase to confirm your place. If you do not hear from us, then you were not allocated a place.

Can I bring a guest to the event?

No, only ticket holders will be accepted into the venue.

Can I register for the hackathon with a team?

Hackathon attendees register individually and then form teams at the event.

Who can attend the gala dinner?

The gala dinner is for anyone interested in connecting with industry projects, hackathon judges and hackathon attendees looking to take their projects further.
